* Derek Bell (brother) is on-air announcer/pilot for Channel 2 & 9 in L.A.

* 790 Math SAT, was accepted at Harvard, Stanford, UC Berkeley

* Graduated with Bachelor's from Stanford U., Master's from

      University of Pennsylvania (Wharton)

* Joined AFTRA in 1985.  Studied acting at the Loft Studios.

* Left acting from 1986-2001 worked a variety of jobs: 

       engineer, writer, manager, musician, Wall St. analyst

* Performed for years in original rock bands as singer/bassist

* Rode bicycle coast-to-coast (2900mi.) in 9 days, 13 hrs in 1996 (RAAM)

* Travelled by backpack worldwide for one year in 1998-1999

* Completed 2 yrs of study at Bennett TheatreLab in San Francisco

       before first paying acting job (Diggory in "She Stoops to Conquer").

* Joined SAG in 2006.  Joined Equity in 2007.
